Question Nokia 6280 Headphone Icon

Hello,

I have searched a lot for the Nokia 6280 problem and its solution. Some point I still havent got cleared as I couldnt found them anywhere.

If I switch the phone I hear Nokia startup voice as normal from speakers. But as soon as it gets to the main phone software it shows a headphone icon on the top. I cant hear anything even connecting a headphone (playing any media file)

Now is it a hardware problem or software problem?

If you say its pop port problem. Then why nokia start up voice comes from speakers phone. And do anybody have a step by step pop port removal video or instruction?

OR is there any other shortcut to this problem by using jumpers.

no its not working ankitmodi.

I have JAF. I have flashed it just to check if there is any software problem. After flashing its still the same. I have tried to boot it into normal mode using JAF. it booted normal and without headset icon. but again when I boot it with putting battery the headset icon comes again. I think may be there is some problem with battery connection.

Why this condition happen??.

This condition happen, because swicth headset on automatic in few secon after phone startup. You have to look for polar capasitor that semi shorted. try step by step solution :
1. clean, replace or change ur plug in.
2. change or remove all polar capasitor there conected with all pin in ur plug in.
3. Change ur jeck

1-3 -- many phone in this condition

4. Ur power IC, -- clean, replace ..

good luck sir
