Nokia 6500 sim card registration failed.tested & not blocked? - GSM-Forum

Hi i have this nokia 6500 slide on 3 network,sim card registration failed,get the 3g sign in top left hand corner & says no sevice,nothing wrong with the sim and i have checked the imei num on 2 sites to see if its blocked ,it says not?so could a hardware fault cause this?thanks

reheat pa with low heat and all ok

Ring 3 to check imei number because if it hasn't being register with them sites it won't show up as being blocked, the only people that can tell you is 3 because it sound blocked to me but ring 3 to make sure

I have exactly the same problem. My phone definitely not blacklisted. Sometimes it will work, then suddenly sim registration failed. Where is the sim filter located on this model? I suspect the sim esd ic, because i had a similar problem on a nokia 6111.
