Nokia 6500s low ear piece sound volume

Hello everyone!

If you have a condition like that, mostly is the flex band problem, especially when flex band is not original (the 2 thermistors touch each other at both ends and short-circuit the earp and earn signals). Remove the thermistors indicated to get rid of the problem.

Happy New Year!

If they touched and short-circuit, the sound at all wouldn't be. Think properly!!!!
At short circuit there is no sound!!!

I think that you have a point here, only it makes sound, but at very low volume. Perhaps those thermistors don't touch that much to form a 0 ohm resistor! I didn't quite measured the resistance between the two tracks, but there's no point of doing that as long as those thermistors are out of the circuit and volume goes up to the right level. Thing is, those two thermistors often touch each other at the ends due to improper soldering.

I should say your reasoning is good. I said "short circuit" for everyone to understand, but maybe there were a few ohms there, I suppose. I recommend you to apply this solution if you have this type of problem and your worries will go away.
