wich IC holds imei info ?

ist of all you can not change imei in nokia phone ... you can change rap from another set which holds imei , but before changing you need to have rpl backup which when changed backup should also be changed.

ok so you said that changing cpu imei will change?

phone 1 : imei 0000 this phone needs new imei
phone 2: imei 1111

1) backup rpl from original phone imei 0000
2) desolder cpu from phone 2
3) desolder cpu from phone 1
4) solder cpu from phone 2 to mainboard of phone 1
5) write back origina rpl on phone 1?

i am asking if you must write RPL of phone 2, or must write RPL from original phone 1.
do u understand ?

Generally cpu holds RPL.
Get a cpu and flash ic holding good imei(same phone).
Replace those ic with imei corropted ic.(similar phone).
your problem solved .No need to back rpl(imei).

NOTE=if you want to change only cpu you need to keep backup of RPL,PM and important data.

if u want to change imei of n97 .u need another n97 set.replace both combo and flash ic.

no need any software for change imei.

cpu and flash ic holds imei in bb5 set,if both ic ok, and u r expert to change it ,imei will b changed.

i have pre heatear and hot air. its necesary infraed solder?

yes. in many bb5 sets like 3110 6300 5300 5130 2690 and many more.
i use simple tool as stencils<jali>,one surgical blade,ppd,hot gun not infrared,and a iron. but my friend i have rebolling ic for eight years and now yet whole day i only reboll ic.
it means practice is most impotent to reboll ic.
one thing in dct4 set only uem<power ic>hold imei.

reball ic and replace it, it only works for 2 hrs or
sometimes for 2days but never forever why plz

i mean to say, that whenever i change an ic it works for few hours and after that it stops working but after reheating it again works and again after few hours it stops and so on. For example betty of 2700c or tahvo of 3110c or any mtk.
