Nokia 7250 dead ringer

hello,

Got a Nokia 7250 that's been dropped & as a result doesn't ring. Opened the phone & can't see anything wrong or cracked or the location of the ringer. Everything works, keypad tones, vibrates. Just doesn't ring. Any help, ideas most appreciated.

Thnx, Adam

Sorry I Have no pictures at the moment, but i have had this fault many times. look on the front of the pc board about a centimeter across to the right of the flash ic you will see a small black bga ic "chip", i normally reheat this or change it and the phone works 100%. try this and good luck. billycool77

Fixed!

hello, thanx 4 all the replies. I couldn't find the items mentioned but did discover corrosive build up on a few components which i removed. Could have been causing short circuits. At least it works now. Thnx again
