Nokia 8800 d-pad key fell off :S - GSM-Forum

Hello, I was using my phone last night and the d-pad key just came off, button still works but the casing on top of it just fell off...to my understanding it was glued not to mention badly..

what kind of glue do the keys use? I took it to a shop and the greedy ......... wanted to replace the whole keys for 75$, whole key set goes for 20$ on ebay shipped!

I don't know what to do...NokiaUSA won't do it since it's the EU version so you can skip that...

make sure its an original part- its very easy to replace it by yourself- look for disassembly 8800 vid you will see.

would it be possible to glue it back? it seems so easy...keypads are cheap on ebay but I don't know if they are OEM, just checked it and they are 10$ shipped...I'll be so happy if I can just glue it back and keep using it..
