Nokia 8800 no backlight & keypad light. - GSM-Forum

As the title says I have a nokia 8800 with no backlight and no keypad light. What can be the problem? main flex or someting else?

Someone got the solution?

Kick. Someone said i had to change the 2 chips, is there a other solution beside that?

cheak the light ic suplt and chang the light ic

I have the same roblem. Light IC is changed, V+ from battery is O.K. Keypad light comes on,but LCD backlight still black

LCD and Flex is O.K with another board.

I've the same problem! No backlight on LCD but the keyboard is ok.

my nokia 8800 sirocco only lights up when its turnt on then when it enters standby the light never comes back on unless u turn it off and on again also the camera freezes the phone when you try an enter it

tried flex and lcd still same problem,when i put into another mainboard it works so it must be hardware anyone have solution.
