Hello,

I have repaired (change screen) one nokia 8910 but after reassembling the phone I have noticed that when I open / close the automatic slide the phone does not answer / hang the incomming call.

After checking all flex connections i have detected the problem. It is caused because this function (automatic answer when the slide is open) is controled by a small magnet that I don´t know where to place.

I have tryed to put this small magnet on the right and left side very close to the opening buttons but this didn´t work.

So, do anyone know where I have to put this magnet ?

it sit in the small gap on the charging block.hold the charging block with the mic on your right and charging pin on your left.next to the mic you will see a small slot.the magnet fits in there.
please post result.
