Nokia E7 Charging / Usb pinout Emergency quick reply please - GSM-Forum

I have a Nokia E7, have replaced the charge / usb port, now it does not respond to the charger, I have checked the pin out from the brill diagram on here but mine is in reverse of what it says, ie pin 5 is ground on mine, not pin 1 as in the diagram....

When I plug charger in, it just reads as dead short, using bog standard usb charger with red light on, the light goes out when plugged in, using an lg cable, is the Nokia cable different..

I have looked at this, thanks, its just the pinout on my board is backwards to the pinout on here

No Bro two connection not work fine,You need charger connecter five pin work...After the charger work good.

can u post here ur pcb image ? seems ur pcb is differ from schematics that I have .

The pcb looks the same as in the usb pinout exactly but the conenctions are all reversed, as against the pinout published here

I have used links to connect my usb port to the correct points but still no response from charger

Please help, I have just disassembled my nokia e7 and found the usb charging port missing 2 contact pins, it looks like i have to de-solder to remove and replace the charging port , can the experts show me a guide as there is nothing on youtube to help on the subject.
