my nokia 8800 sirocco only lights up when its turnt on then when it enters standby the light never comes back on unless u turn it off and on again also the camera freezes the phone when you try an enter it

I have a issue ,6300 imei not showing *#06# = i want to input a new imei and it must work with the code (*#06#) to check imei , please can you give some guide line how can i overcome this issue...
What are the ways to overcome this issue so that i can input a new Imei into the phone with no issues.. pls explain...
