Nokia Killed My N80, trying to repair with JAF and FBUS. pls help

Hi all.

I had a perfectly fine UK VODA (unlocked by voda) Nokia N80, until a plugged inot pc suite where it allowed me to update software using the DK 2 USB cable. All went fine until approx 95% where the update failed. Now N80 does not power on.

i took to Nokia Service and they said it is not covered by warranty. So... I went and bought a JAF box and PKEY online. I repaired phones in the old days of the 8210 and 3330 etc when flashing was with dejan software. Anyway i thought i had nothing to lose. As i waited for my JAF box to arrive i began reading up on other methods and one was to flash via usb using pheonix, i maned to obtain a copy of pheonix 2006 cracked and download v15.1 firmware for RM-92 (n80), i was able to flash until about 98% and then error. Shoot!!! Now when i plug USB in Win XP say "USB Device Not Recognized" so i can no longer flash via USB as XP will not allow power to that device if it is not recognized and phone still no power on.
Anyway, jaf box arrived and i proceeded to flash with FBUS, and now it goes through the motions until it reaches stage 2 and the gives error. Phone now switches on with White background and remains on. I have tried empty MCU file but without luck. I have attahced my output. Could someone please help me out here.

It's better for you to ask some professional phone repairers to rehot some IC-s in your phone (flash, ram etc. they will know if they are professionals ), 'coz maybe your phone has damaged HW too, not only SW related problem. SW upgrade will be succesfull only after repairing HW fault.

( anyway, I would throw tha phone into those idio_ts head at nokia, when they said : it's not covered by warranty! )

This thread is quite old now. I have a N80 with the same problem. I don't have jaf box yet, can't use Phoenix cause of the error "USB device not recognized". Did you be able to fix your?
