Nokia MMC problems - GSM-Forum

i am using 6600 that is not formatting MMC inside the phone I try 64MB 256 MB and 512MB card all of the card is formatted by card reader by PC in fat system but when I put card in phone it is saying Memory card corrupted and when I format I format all above card in phone it take 2 sec and ask for card name I put name and phone say error occur operation cancelled. Please help me..

card is working in all other PC and phones but not in my phone
When i format in phone It format and then ask for name and when i enter name for MMC phone say error occur operation cancelled

i think ur mmc ic want to change brother.first give heat in ic if not worked then replace da ic.

Better to check the MMc connectors first rather to change the MMc ic .....

Clean Contacts First before changing.

100% hardware prob... change the black ic just above flash ... all b fine... regards

i unlocked mmc with jaff later saying corrupted

yes this will format your card after tha you format this with fat and once formaet in your mobile it will be ok

i have also mmc related problem my nokia 6230i works well without mmc when i insert mmc set does not search network

I have the same problem in Nokia 6600, Actually I am working with nokia presentator and controlling Windows media player and when I change from media player to desktop in phone in wireless presentator phone hang. I switch it off then on then phone is not detecting Memory card. then I off phone and then take out MMC and insert it again phone detect MMC and when I again run Nokia wireless presentator phone is not responding, but at this time i found that I am abale to kill wireless Presentator application and all program of phone memory is running but of MMC is not. Then i again off and on phone same all above problem occurs, at last i finally it is saying MMC ccorrupt and same problem as you are facing come. So if you found solution please also help me [email protected]
