@Shahrukh

For the drop signal after 7 seconds, you have soldered your PA badly, this fault in my exsperince is nearly always PA, second is COBBA for this fault !!

What was the exact fault before change of the PA ??, did the phone have signal, did it drop when makeing a call, manual search network, did it fluctuate up and down all the time ???

@datalife2000

For FAID probelm it's normal that the network operator is shown in display for about 5-7 seconds, then disappears, but without any signal bars ! He writes that the signal drops after 7 seconds, do correct me if I'm wrong here.

Regards

Normal signal after power up then no signal at all means that RX chain works OK but no TX...

This could be due to:

1. PA ( bad soldered, broken or no VBB on PA- this is most often case on new boards revision suffered water damage )...

2. Antenna switch

3. Hagar

4. Cobba

5. Software ( simlock checksums are not OK )

6. It could be something else, like broken track, MAD2,.... But above reasons are most often...
