Problem with 6230i noise and scratch

In speaker I hear noise and scratch, in loudspeaker too. I try flash, pm, factory setting etc. Who can help me? Phone wasn't in water.

CellWorm 01-08-2006 20:08

i think problem in mic. clean mic contact or check with new mic.

maciekmm 01-08-2006 22:29

Not with mic, in speaker ! In my phone in speaker I hear ...

CellWorm 01-09-2006 07:06

yes friend i understand. sometime mic create this problem.

maciekmm 01-09-2006 17:42

Solution not work, thanks friend. I putted out mic and solution not help me.

reball or change polyfonic IC.....

rajumobile 01-10-2006 16:41

If you have made a jumper for the buzzer or anything which passes above the RF circuitery then Reroute it ( route it parallal with the ground lines ) and use good shielded wire. Also put frame shields on their place.

Dave.W 01-10-2006 16:50

probably relate to UEM...

ANUCHOPRA 01-10-2006 17:19

mr. knight rider is correct.
try reflowing all the small crystal ic.

Dave.W 01-10-2006 17:45

sorry my friend, but please look at the attached schematic of nokia 6230 audio lines...

there is no "crystal ic" (which we call resistor packages...) in the lines. the crystal effect package usually contain 3 or more resistors...

you will see R150/R157/R162/R169/R170 are packages containing two resistor in each, none of these are appear "crystal". you can look on board and see this, they are like normal SMD resistors, but square instead of rectangle...

when you look to the schematic, you will now see that there is no point at all that the earpiece and external earpiece are linked. other than at UEM.
so if you are having problem in both component, then any one with logical thinking can say uem is the problem...

also, after i have seen maybe 20 piece 6230 saying "insert sim", i have came to conclusion that "reflow the crystal ic" does nothing. only replace or bridging those components will help...

see attached,
br

That man is right any scratching sounds are ( power hazards ) in origin and cuaes are so many and strange .
-because audio circuits depends on signals not current as logic they use decoupling capasitors to the I/O terminals , if any of the input cap has cracking , falieur ,or even dirty across its pins it gives "Scratching " .
-surge of the DC power or any problem with the power feed , or DC smoothing gives ( audible spikes ) , thats why " Dave " see that it is the UEM .
-Faulty PCBs gives the same ( audible spickes ) , when PCB trackes looses insulation betwwen +ve and -Ve lines due to prolonged heating ( under PA , Light divers and other devices causing heat ). it was common in 3310 faulty PCB with Lights and soundes .

phones are using inductors in place of decoupling capacitor, you can see in all piece (d500, 7250, 6230 fror examples).

i dunno how that works, as inductor does not block the DC like a capacitor does...

any case, to fault find this correct, you really need a good oscilloscope

Yes inductors used as filters too ( Ex. the cross fading filters inside the loud speackers ) they use the coils as " shouck coils " to reduce the ultra high frequency signals ( high pass filter ) if connected in seires ( at woofers ) and if used with tweeters it is connected in parallel with the tweeter to eleminate the low frequencyes from the tweeters .
also shouck coils used at the Cars motors as an RF ( radio filters ) devices to reduce the RF harmony of the motor from feeding to the radio .

hi,
@ maciekmm
this problem is mostly a result of water damage
so try reflowing the polyphonic ic

GSM WIZARD 01-12-2006 07:00

make sure your phone is clean, try too check the uem if its not sealed all around, then it will be having some rust inside.aply flex and rehot it.flex can help you to clean it.
regards
