problem with new digitizer on nokia lumina 530 - GSM-Forum

Hi Everyone

wonder can someone help me out on this one..
I have installed new digitizers on nokia 520, i have done three of these and they are having the same problem, the digitizer is not responding properly when typing an sms, if you hit a key a diff letter will come up etc.

question, is there different versions of the digitizer? could i be using the wrong version. i have used the same supplier.. or maybe the suppliers digitizers are faulty?

or is there another solution to get the screen to function properly.
i have tried hard resetting but this was of no use and there is no calibration setting for the digitizer?

anybody else experiecing the same problems??

Hi

I have the same problem, installed a new screen and the touch display is not working probably. Did you find an answer?

I've been finding the same thing. Two customers phones experienced the same fault its a lottery as to which screen is going to work and when it doesn't same symptoms screen works usually until locked or press harder than normal on the screen and then it requires a battery removal to do anything.

Anyone have any ideas?
