Repair all 6230 key problems - GSM-Forum

First try to change keypad pcb or discard sw problem, but if u are sure 100% hardware problem on main pcb:

- If failure is on 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,*,# keys ... change Z300 ic
- If failure is on up,down,ok,right,left,menu keys ... change Z301 ic

(In case of Z300 damaged, will fail a line of keys p.ej. 2-5-8-0, but in case
of Z301 can fail only one key or more because there is one line for each key)

(please note that Z300 is also the ic that drives keypad and lcd illumination)

If this is not the solution, then change TIKKU cpu

I have one 6230 and dont work the 4,5,6,i change the Z300 but is the same,please can you send me a schematic for 6230,because i dont now where is Z301 ic ? My email is [email protected]

hmmmm
i had key problem , from this its z301 (uper ic)
i changed it from other 6230 same part...
now keys are working .... lol but not that they should do... *,# 0 ->9 all working
up and down working
right left working as * , # and del end , send and its uper key working like up and down .... any ideas ?????

hum... try to change it again or change Z300... if it's not Z300 or Z301 failure, then check cpu

are z300/z301 same part ? what other phone models use this parts ?

hi,
the same key ic of 6230 Z300 you find it in siemens C62 (02 ic)
