Member: 25763 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 18 | 6610 extract content failed I have a Nokia 6610 water damaged. I have cleaned the board througly using ultrasonic cleaner. But the phone refuses to switch on. I tried flashing with ufs/griffin but it shows error as below : Initializing Phone... Flash configuration: 9B020100EC22FA000000110200000001... Boot and Flash loaders operation took 5.177000 seconds Erasing - erase took 61.031003 seconds Flashing MCU - flashing took 62.432003 seconds Flash configuration: 9B020100EC22FA000000110200000001... Erasing - erase took 10.587001 seconds Flashing Content data - flashing took 4.761000 seconds Extracting content package . . . Wait phone ready..., Delay - Issue extract...Extract content FAILED Flash configuration: 9B020100EC22FA000000110200000001... Erasing - erase took 10.767001 seconds Flashing PPM - flashing took 12.116001 seconds Flashing DONE After flash processing... Trying autopower Fail can anybody please suggest ,why the content file fails to extract. BR |

Member: 12660 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 7 | @ supremegsm Try flash just the mcu and ppm first then try content package and ppm sometimes the handset will not go into local mode and that is needed to complete extracting content package Regards D. |

Member: 89713 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Try this When you dropped your phone in the water, it will have caused corrosion under the IC's themselves. Try using isopropanal to clean the board, leave it to soak for five minuets. Any corrosion should disapear, even the corrosion under the IC's and the tracks within the main board itself |
