This Thread is dedicated in solving 6600 Contact Retailer "phone start up failed, contact retailer" problem. This method of troubleshooting can also be used in Nokia handsets like: 3650-60/3230/7610 & 6260. The method that I will share in this thread are based on my work-experience and research. STEP1 6600 Contact retailer troubleshooting via software: Method 1 1- Hand Format (power-on/call/*/3) 2- Format (UFS/JAF) Method 2 1- Use erase files 2- Flash to its original firmware 3- Write PM 4- Format 3- Unlock STEP2 6600 Contact retailer troubleshooting via hardware: Method 1 1- Check UEM Serial 2- If Serial is ????????????... REPLACE UEM and write NEW RPL or if the UEM is still believed to be of good hardware condition... apply LOG via FUFENU/JAF or UB 3- Flash the unit to its Original firmware 4- Format and unlock Method 2 1- If UEM Serial is OK.... 2- If Software Toubleshooting is already applied and still Contact Retailer... 3- Change F11 and F13 (refer to pics below) 4- Before you replace F11&F12... make sure that you have a back-up of UEM Serial 5- Do Method 2 of Software Troubleshooting.. Enjoy!!! |
