Some 3310s with no network.

Hi!

Please, give us an advise what could be the reason of that those phones not find (or not register with the) network.
We have a few such motherboards and tried allready to change the main chips (COBBA, HAGAR, PA and even CCONT) and of course tried also to fully reflash them a few times.

Thank in advance for any advice.

First off all, you have to trace the root of the problem. Is this a TX or RX problem? Use Netmonitor & RF detection sticker to test if its a TX or RX problem then you can narrow it down

Chris_ua.,

wintesla is best to test for NOKIA SW (ofcasue), and you can use it to measure your phone RF and BB control !

Fang50 ,

how to use wintesla,,,,,hmmmmmmmmm

best way , to see help on wintesla !

but here ,,, RX , you can go to "rssi reading" to see that level !
it on test menu !

and TX, it on tune menu, and go TX power level !

when you need to measure in BB<->RF , then you go to RF control menu !

chris_ua

there is so many reason to make no network, you have to use some tester to measure RF path Hager to COBBA first !
then you can know which part is problem , RF or BB !
