Re: Mr Willy, 8210 no signal

Black-Axe,

sound not "stupid", at list you try to know what happen your phone, and it correct way to repair phone

TO measure C558, it is for 3310, to know loop from Hager to VCO ,,it can be range from 1.2V to 3.2V at around 216 hz,, you have to use oscilloscope to "see" it !

first check VRX , VTX, V,,,,,, from CCONT ,

and for 8210, you have to measure that VCO at C802 !( by oscilloscope)
and go to R530 ( in RX brust mode) to see that RX IP/QP -> oscilloscope too !

for your 8210, that RSSI -118dbm, how about TX ?
is TX working ?
TXP, TXC and TX detect, you have to measure it too !

most time, if it is -118bdm, i will check antenna switch , and 26Mhz Vp-p, and COBBA !

Willy
