N73 only * key is not working ! - GSM-Forum

i have fresh N73 ( RM-133 ) ..
when we start phone it locks itself... when try to unlock keypad it says press * to unlock .. but * key isn't working...
symptom is when i start the phone .. i continue press any of key continuesly ( eg 8 ) it dispay 888888 and then suddently keypad lock itself...
except * key all other keys are working ok ... i checked it by press every key and it says "press unlock ........... "

i have flashed phone with new version ( with UFS micro ) ..
i have re-heated OMAP and keypad ic .. ( near keypad socket )

still no result ..

plz anyone have solution for this ?

Did you check keypad connector and clean * between keypad and foil?
