UEM changed,imei rebuild but powerdown! - GSM-Forum

After successful UEM change on 3 x 8310, and imei rebuild successful, phone switch, accept simcard, make call but after
few seconds powerdown. All three phones have same problem.
** Should I flash phone after imei rebuild ??

Does it turn off after exactly 30 seconds ??

Yes - exactly 30 seconds !! - what can it be? - How do I fix it?

then freind your UEM are not good ..this fault is due to bad UEM chip.

See troubleshooting! Section "Phone jammed" - measure watchdog signal at testpoint j400 is OK?
If not OK, change UPP...

Agree 100%...UEM or UPP broken or bad soldered...

In most cases - just bad UEM chip - it's not so easy to find good empty UEM's

Thanks Guys - I will try new UEM's but they are driving me nuts!!
10 UEMS changed and not 1 works !!

Signal sleepclk (32.768) is OK?
When change UEM try see signal on crystal RTC (32.768).
Maybe he is broken...
it just variant...

Hello guys,
Sorry to ask, but is this related to trying to solve some CONTACT SERVICE caused by 2 faults ( I have forgoten them) ??

If YES,

In service manual, it says you should change a certain item, (I think c300, I am not sure), then reflash, IMEI, simllock data, etc).

But I have the following problems :
1. How to get the spare for this item
2. how to correctly fix them.

Pls help me.
