UEM and UPP temperature settings ? - GSM-Forum

Phone was working intermittently (on and off). When UEM was pressed, phone worked great. So I decided to flux and reheat/reflow UEM @ 300C for few seconds. Phone now dead. Probably UEM killed.

All surrounding area was covered with thick metal plate to avoid heating up surrounding components/IC's. Tried replacing with 100% working UEM's. Still phone dead.

Anyone can guide me onto which temp and airflow settings are best to work on 8310's and 6510's.

I am using Net Tools Hot Air 852A.

Probably you have burned 32kHz sleepclock cristal ...
