Member: 235325 Status: Offline Sonork: 100.1593552 Thanks Meter: 523 | Vertu Signature S RM-266V repaired! these days I've had another Vertu phone to repair which was damadged on it's charging circuit because the guy who replaced it's charging connector didn't payed atention to the original one which was inverted. After he connected the charger he just saw some smoke and the phone dead. Not completely dead but only with a bootloop in white screen. This hw mainboard it is a little strange and looks like a hybrid between 3 others Nokia when it is about the charging part. After I inspected it and did some tests and measurements I've descovered the problem which was caused by an charging controller BQ24150 (TI). I replaced it and the phone is OK. Also I descovered the fbus pinout and I did some tests and backups as you can see in the pics and logs. Maybe will be useful for someone. Regards! Both are EMI filters for LCD. For example in my case both were broken and I replaced with others from Nokia 6300. The bigger esd from the midle of charging connector you can take it from N95 8G. On schematic it is r3301. Unfortunelly I don't know what's about with that small esd. In my case it had nothing to do with the charging part so I didn't checked it. Regards! | |
