6600, turns OFF. - GSM-Forum

Hi guys. I just receive this 6600 with this problem:
- power ON with no problem
- accept sim card (with or without PIN)
- when desktop appears on screen , phone turns OFF (as if we turn it OFF with ON/OFF switch), with blanc screen and NOKI logo on the bottom.
this appends before networks, and before we have time to access the menus or contact list.

I tried to change ON/OFF switch and took OFF PA (to see if it was not PA problem as it appends on some others phones). Batery is OK, and I tried with new one too, phone is charging OK. Also I format user area (with GREEN + * + 3).
Can anyone please help me to repair this one?

ya must flash it first, then try to find the problems. post it for further..

i use to receive some phones from UK with the same problem. I did not know that it was kind of Sim Lock.
Try to unlock your phone and post the result.

First Remove the SIM THEN press these three keys simulteneously and press ON the Phone..The mobile should format automatically.........

1 = *
2 = 3
3 = Green calling key/////

"*"+"3"+"grennkey"

i tried that code. it won't work, phone version is 4.09.1

i LOVE all above comments,friend this problem of yours is 99% hardware if sw is ok

ur start here
UEM
then flash ic
last upp
should be ok
after u CHANGE UEM "my opinion 90% should BE ok"
be very carefull since uem ic GLUED on that model,most what i seen

thanks to all for help. The problem was Soft. I flashed it, and now phone is 100%.
