when should PM file to be used???? - GSM-Forum

i hv read many threads but got confused regarding using PM files.

as i know it should to be used only after erasing the Flash.....

is it necessary to use it after doing work in hardware section ???
and why?????????????

i think you didn't have to. try to write pm when the signal is blank

That sure ! you don't necessary to write pm every time you flash phone you should write pm by reason :
1. after erase flash
2. your phone no signal
3. chang flash ic

if you have charging problems also, you may want to try write pm file before doing the hardware check...
