If all the tracks below this broken part V2000 are intact, charging should take place even without this diode i suppose ! This looks like a varactor diode which protects the phone's charging circuit in case the input voltage to the phone from the charger exceeds a certain limit. Removing it temporarily should not affect the charging function. However, it would be risky to omit this protective part permenantly, beware!

yes the problem is not from this diode for sure. Please check other parts but mainly the tracks, i suggest.

What error message occured while you plug-in the charger? "Not Charging" or nothing happened???
