Member: 731170 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Motorola 1000 (privat D2) First time post here, thanks for letting me join, I hope I have placed this question in the appropriate slot! I am in the UK, and have the above mentioned GSM transportable, the problem I am having is registering the phone on a GSM network. I know (pretty sure) its on 900 megs, when I insert the large size sim card it comes up saying 'Check Card', I have tried the o2 cards in it as well as Vodaphone, both say the same thing, and yet I have an old 'cellent' card although long expired as such it does come onto the screen 'BT Cellnet' then allows me into the menu sections to adjust whatever, but then once its serached for a network it says ''Bad Card'' see supplier, which it will do as it has not been active for some 10 years or so. Can anyone point me in the right direction at all please?, as I seem to have run out on ideas on what to do now. Thankyou for anyones help Rob |

Member: 731170 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Follow up OK well exhaustive research has shown that I need a 3v or 5v sim card, can anyone tell me where in the UK I can get hold of a Vodaphone/O2 large sim with a 3v or 5v operating voltage? I would really appreciate a reply please. Rob |
