Any solution for motorolla V980 display problem

Same here, did tp and unlock procedure (pcb only, no display or keypad attached), reassemble and turn on but no display just keypad lights and sound. Suposed I damaged flex y tried 2 new pieces, still same. I´ve made this model several times before w/o problems. Any advice?

Why use TP on a V980? Did it have boot 6.3.6 or something?
I haven't had a V980 until now that required Tp to unlock....

dont know if this works 4 v980 but 4 v975 all i did was to clean connectors on pcb and flex and then display worked,
if that any help

Yes it was 6.3.6, also cleaned pcb and flex contacts. nothing.
Other post says to replace tp resistor, didn´t work for me

For those who used TP to unlock their v980 you may have damaged the resistor. Please refer to this thread. I hope you fix your display problem.

bro i have motorola v975.cant display showing only blank display.i changed the ribbon,compleate display set.but no responce.please suggest me what should i do.thanks
