problems unlocking v600 on windows millenium - GSM-Forum

i bought an unlock code, i downloaded the sofware, when i click on unlock, it says it can not locate usb motorola device. when i try to manually install my phone, it tells me it can not find p2k.sys file. this file came with my download and i know i have it (i got it from unimoto). does anybody have any suggestions on why my comp. is not recognizing the file? i have windows millenium, i dont know if that is the problem, if there's a problem with the file, or if i'm even more computer illiterate than i thought.. i've searched and searched online and in here for hours and hours.. and i'm stuck.. CAN ANYBODY LEAD ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION??? PLEASE!?!?!?

I have Windows Millenium and some p2k programs will not work.
Maybe your p2k.sys file is in zipped format still. Unzip it to somewbere you know then try again.
Alternatively if you have msn messenger then add me and i will give you a step by step guide and see if i can sort it for you. ([email protected])
