i was talking off the metal shield to do a test point and unlock it when i accedently took off a chip from it. can someone help me put it back on correctly in DETAIL! and what tools do i need to do it? thanks heres a pic of it. help please!!!

can someone also tell me if the piece is important or can the phone function without it? idk b/c i was going to repair the pds b/c i messed it up and it wont turn on. any help is appreciated.
