what am I to enter for "enter subsidy password" - GSM-Forum

Does anybody know what "enter subsidy pasword" means when you have finished unlocking the phone, does it mean the phone is not unlocked or you have to enter a default password from the manufacturer/network?

If u get that message after trying to unlock the phone, it means that the phone is still locked to the network. The subsidy password is the unlock code that the network (eg: Vodafone, A1, Tim, etc) provides when u pay the fee to them.

So my friend, i'm sorry to say, but u have to keep trying.

Clean the bottom connector before u connect the cable and also recharge the battery fully and try again it will be unlocked Successfully.
