Using LG C1100 in Canada/USA - GSM-Forum

I have an LG C1100 that I use in France with Orange.
I had it unlocked in France over the holidays and would like to use it in Canada now with Rogers.
Went to Rogers where they tested with a rogers SIM card and it COULD NOT FIND NETWORK.

When I use the Orange SIM, it cannot find any network either.
Same thing when I travel to the US.

Has anybody had any luck using an LC C1100 either in Canada or the US?

Does anybody know what's wrong with this phone in NAFTA?

Cause this phone is only bi-band (GSM900-PCN1800)!!!
It never works in Canada and USA (GSM1900)
