Member: 209170 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Help in making a flash cable I have a 24 pin data serial cable for a LG C1100 mobile - I would like to modify it so that I can include a 9v battery for flashing. With reference to the pinout diagram below, if I connect the - terminal of the battery to pin 12 or 19 and the + terminal of the battery to pin 16, would this work? http://pinouts.ru/data/lg_common_24p_pinout.shtml Also, is it possible to just use a standard data serial cable (wihout 9v battery) to flash a fully charged LG c1100 phone? Member: 182528 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Can i use use RS232 that originally come with the phone? I have it one. Please confirm it to me because i want to help my friend unlock his LG C1100 remotely (i will give him instruction how to do it). Also, do i need to install the LG C1100 driver first before unlock the phone? I hope no need, but please confirm it to me. There is no way to install it i think because the phone now still lock and they don´t have simcard from the company that the phone has been unlock to. Anyone please help . |

Member: 209170 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | No need for special 9v cable Hi, Just thought of letting you guys know that you don't need a special 9v data serial cable to unlock an LG c1100 phone. I have unlocked my phone with an ordinary cable and the best thing is that the whole process took roughly 15 seconds. Cheers Dwain |
