You must use a cable which have DB9 connector for serial and supply connector on it. It is the easy way. Your cable is good, but only for unlock. I made my cable from a gx15 cable.

magnet 01-11-2005 10:20

can you suggest me a cable.other than gx15

x70?????????

thanks in adv

gsm_b0y 01-11-2005 11:37

If it has db9 connector and supply connector it's good. It could be X70.

OK ..everywhere I see this cable pinout the USB communication is described as RX and TX. There is no such a thing!!! USB communication is more similar to RS485 than to RS232. There is USB- and USB+ and the data is transmited both ways using USB frames.
SO WHICH ONE IS USB+ and USB-????

Here usb pinouts, but to your cable don`t put gnd. Use only +5v, data+, data-.
And one more thing, tx and rx means TX data or RX data
BR, xyz
