Ok.
Since flashing worked with LGDP2_36 (using it right now to post this), I will try little experiment...

When I come home, I will download LGDP2_35 that you provided, LG GT405 firmware that you posted and try to flash LG GT400 with it! Just for fun!

Do you have DLL for GT405 or I can use GT400 DLL?

ps: firmware that you provided for GT400 works great, thanks again! ...question, why don't you pack dll with firmware?

Thank You!

Flashed it with files you provided, works great, gt405 firmware works on gt400, no problems, fast flash, 5 minutes...

I used LGDP2 V35 for it, worked just fine, without any problems.

...now to look for some other firmware to test it with...

What about KM570 or to go wild and try with GT540???

KM570 DLL
KM570_100113

GT540 DLL
GT540_100406_MP

You don't need any DLL for KU990, use LGMDP.

I had no time to test it why, but i could not get them to flash the phone... will try to figure it out later.
I tried to use LGMDP once before, but coud never make it work with my phone, I will post if it works this time.

BTW, can you post all DLL's for SEMC (A2), I think that GT50x series is most compatible with GT40x...

...and is there a way, or a program to open and modify firmware files so that I can, for example, take widgets or EMS support from one firmware and place it into another?

1. Install GSMulti, Install The Infinion USB driver, also install the TI_Neptune driver too.
2. Copy the firmware folder to the GSMulti folder on c:, read also the pdf file from the GSMulti, read it start from 128..
3. Restart your computer
4. Take the battery out of your phone plug your usb cable into your phone but not the computer
5. Run USBMap_V01, select Infinion at the top of program window, press mapping start, plug the usb cable into your computer, when usbmap finds your phone press save & exit.
6. Unplug the usb cable from computer.
7. Run GSMulti, go into configuration and select the Dll file and FLS files that are in the folder and select USB in port information and select ok
8. Press Start and then connect the USB cable to the computer, flashing should now start. If flashing works, you should then use the LGUtils as normal to upgrade to a better firmware as this is an old firmware but its the only one to be found that works with GSMulti but at least it gets your phone working again.

About unlocking, you need one/two current professional tool (professionals mus have more than one) which are offering latest models, cause normally you'll get latest phones for unlock in your shop. You can flash/repair also with these tools.

It may be 2945#*# but problem is that you can't even enter * # when your phone asks pass without sim also. You need to reset with any tool or flash it.

HELP!!!!

Well, to make a long story short, during flashing my power limiter decided to kick in and turned off power to my apartment... and you guessed it, now I have a nice flashing LG brick!

Is there a way to fix it, I can still flash it, but NOTHING WORKS!!!
Sometimes it just blinks (flashing SOS with LG logo), sometimes it just hangs (only logo).

HELP?
PS: I found a way with setool, but I don`t have it, is there any other way?
