LG Tethering commands

Maybe it's not directly related to unlocking, but hopefully somebody can
point in the right direction.

Is there any way (like AT commands, for example) to improve USB tethering
performance of LG phone?
From the same provider using LG Optimus One Wi-Fi tether I'm getting speeds
five times faster than LG GB 255g usb tether.
The cellular network speed is capped at 2Mbps and LG 255g should be able to handle this.
