I think its best you buy at least 2, there are many good boxes on the market to choose from ... and each offers quite viable solutions.

I thing currently fully activated FG supports a lot of models...when it comes to android...bt there isno best box unless if u specify by brand eg lg/htc

for hard reset and many other like some phones not going in fastboot mode is the - andorid multi tools
for root is - super one click root
and for flashing is her original flasher

I suggest a working PC, with monitor mouse and keyboard, an oh... don't forget the internet connection.
Include the cmd console, a little knowledge but a lot of understanding on adb commands and a brain.

that will make your job complete, when it comes to android phones
