Interested in writing Java applications

Hello everybody
I'm interested in writing Java applications for my mobile phone.
I already know how to write .jar applications (wrote tetris, minesweeper, etc for PC), but I don't know how to make it work on my mobile.
I'd like to start with the most basic things, like how to translate this code to a mobile phone application:
Code:
int num = Integer.parseInt(JOptionPane.showInputDialog("Enter an integer");
JOptionPane.showMessageDialog( null, "The number is " + ( num % 2 == 0 ? "even" : "odd" ) );
And then move to more complicated applications.
I own a Samsung F480 phone, so can I use the touchscreen feature on my applications, or do I have to use the little bar on the bottom?
I tried googling it, without any success.

Thank you very much,
Ron.
