DCT-4 IMEI Calculator in a 3410 phone??!?! - GSM-Forum

Greets everyone,

Quick question...There is a DCT-4 unlock calculator within a 3410 phone, has anyone used this before or does anyone own one of these?

I hear these are upgradeable when new software is avilable by flashing them with the updates, can anyone confirm this?

Any replies will be appreciated!

no man it is called DATA-One
It LOOKS like a 3410 phone
it can unlock Sonyericsson and Nokia DCT-4
Also upgradable to unlock sharp/panasonic and more comming.

Hi,

bought a unit today its ok, i need the software to update the phone has anyone got this software to add new software on this unit please email me or write on here, because someone is charging 100 GBP to update it!

Bads, who did you buy it from?
The updates are only available for the JIC ones.... that includes updates for the current models. For Sharp, Panasonic etc, you have to buy the update, as they require different cables as well as hex.

You need to purchase the update since the sw is specific too the clip you purchased, JIC are not complete fools.

New update just released.

In answer too the original question these clips now work very well, are upgradeable, and all future updates for existing fones are provided free, top quality product from top quality firm.

This '3410' is NO DCT3 man it LOOKS like one it's NOT a 3410.
This is NOT a phone.

And yes updates can only be delivered by jic or good(approved) resellers mickeyblueeyes is competely right about it.

yes i have had one of these dataone clips (3410 lookalike phone)

for about 2 months ace piece of kit

unlocks all dct3 all dct4 and all new sonyericssons

and if you pay extra for the update you get added to the clip the sharp GX10 and GD67 & GD87

but all updates for the dct3 & dct4 and sonyericsson are free

I agree the clips are good, but some drawbacks...

1> when the new imei serials are out like the 3510i this kit cant unlock because of the -1 number from the unlock code so it gets very very confusing when you have to input the right code and you only get 4 tries at it!!!

2> i have already had 2 GX10's and 3 GD87's that were NOT unlocked and i think its because of the software, old models are fine but newer ones run into some problems

3> it would be nice if ALL the supported phones on this kit had a complete set of databables and not just a few like the ericsson

4> if continous software updates and support is given this is a winning kit!

am i the only one who has noticed this or are there others?

any replies appreciated!

Just the cover is look likes a 3410 or the inside is too?
Can you make/receive calls also besides the clip functions?

If yes, would you be so kind to read full flash from that "phone" and mail to me

@bads you didnt reply to my PM! & this already does 3510i without minus 1digit as its already got it implemented & just use a 3510 conector head on the cable you got with it 2 do a direct unlock!
@masterID this is a multiphone unlock clip NOT a phone(you cannot make & recieve calls on it) the main chassis is based on 3310-the cover is also 3310 its just designed to look like a 3410 however the main function button is in the centre i.e same keypad layout as 3310.
