DCT4 Calculators not working on my Nokia 8390 - GSM-Forum

Hi,

I have tried many different Calulators to unlock the Nokia 8390 I have on the Rogers AT&T network here in Canada.

IMEI # 010093302017127
Rogers AT&T Canada
Nokia 8390

MCC + MNC # tried:
307-20
302-72

and I can't get it to work. I have used:

I get the same message about not being able to unlock.
I also have a DCT3/DCT4/DCT5 clip and when I try to flash the phone it gives the appearance that it is flashing it and even rewrites the boot up screen but does not unlock the phone.

Any ideas ?

this are the right codes for 30272 (30720 is wrong!!!)

as you have entered 5 wrong codes only griffinbox or similar tool can help you. try to contact www.gsmphonesource.com before that you could give the free jic unlocker a try

Hi,

above in my post I stated that I tried both 30272 and 30720 and neither worked. I also have an unlocking clip but it is not unlocking it. The unlcocking clip seems to flash it and my phone is still able to be used on the Rogers network but I can't seem to get it unlocked for other networks.

is there a code for nokia that you can punch into the phone to find out the MCC + MNC # ?

also where would I get the jic unlocker is that a calculator ?

so even though I can use the phone on the Rogers network and still type in codes the only way to get it unlocked is by cable ?

since I can still use it then wouldn't that mean I can still try the right codes?

sorry I guess I miss understood when people said the phone would be locked after entering the code wrong 5 times I thought it would be unfunctional.

but I guess it means locked from unlocking with out a cable.
