i would say all three of the calcs can do lock 4 if u know the code
however
i beleive that lock 4 is the simlock
the calcs are usually used to remove
lock 1 provider lock
lock 2 network lock

the simlock is the lock which you can activate and de activate in the settings/security options
it make it so only the simcard it was locked to works
not even another simcard from the same network would be accpeted

if this is the case then u should be able to enter the wrong code a number of times
to lock the device to need a PUK code
this should be given to you by your network provider for free as long as the phone is registered to you
<<do not try this until unique and mono etc can confirm if its the case>>
<<could be wrong>>

if its not then if you know the lock4 code enter it into any one of the great calcs and they should give you the correct code

oh saying that
code 4 codes if i recall maybe like 7-8 charactors so maybe a little modifaction maybe required

Lock 4 has nothing to do with security code. It's correct, that lock 4 is used to lock the phone to a single SIM card, but in Denmark we have a provider (debitel), that uses lock 4 too, and many SIM cards from debitel can be used in one of their locked phones (so it's possible to lock to more than one card somehow).

Yes, simlock and security codes is two very different things - but you said:

This is the security code you can turn on/off - not the simlock which is any of lock 1,2,3 or 4.

simlock IS part of lock 1 2 3 4, of course, it's lock 4

but you can use ????? to allow several sim ranges

for simlocking there are three fields an simcard

IMSI, GID 1 and GID 2

for network lock (1) only first five digits of IMSI are used e.g. 26201

for GID 1 lock (2) the value of that field is used

for GID 2 lock (3) the value of that field is used

for IMSI lock (4) the value of IMSI digits 6-16 are used, but wildcards are

possible e.g. German provider O2 uses lock 4 with IMSI value 2620749FFFFFFFFF for all O2 Loop Prepaid Cards

In Portugal the network 26803 - Optimus also uses that kind of lock, i have two simcards locked on 4. I called the operator to unlock and they give a code ending #...+4#. But when i enter the code, the phone give two msg: Code error and Not allowed. Now I have to go an shop of the operator to unlock, and this all for free. But if anyone have any ideia how can we unlock code 4 it would be nice to put some information here.
Mr Wolfman, have you now understand my prob?? It has nothing to do we the security code, i yes, i can see all the networks, when i search then manually. I want to thank you and all users for sharing your knowlegde in the foruns.

i have unlocked man dct3 on this network in portugal
and lock 4 was never required
u say even the lock 4 code the network gave you didnt work
well
the first code error was a wrong code
but the second not allowed
means the second code you tried was correct but too many wrong tries have been attempted
