So you don't have to worry about the compatibility of the recipient's phone. E.g. received emoticon of smile will be represented by and animations will be represented by {A.SMSxxxx}. If your recipients would like to view the animation you sent, you can use [Recommand to others] in the software, to send an SMS with short description and download URL or A-SMS. So he can send and receive A-SMS together!


Easy to use
A-SMS is embedded in "Messaging", everything is just the same as the way you used to send normal SMS! Simply go to "Messaging" -> "New message" -> "Animated message" to create new message. You will receive A-SMS in "Inbox", find the sent A-SMS in "Sent" and the draft in "Drafts"!


Share with your friends
You can share the 2-day trial version of A-SMS with others via Bluetooth, or use "Recommand to others" in the software to tell others where to download A-SMS.

Emoticons in A-SMS are synchronized with emoticons used by Nokia S40 Series, e.g. Nokia 6280, 5300.

Tired of the display backlight going out when you are looking at the screen - e.g. while thinking about the right word for an sms? Wouldn't it be nice if your phone knew when you needed the light and when not? SmartLight does just that: Once you have opened an application, the backlight stays on - until you close or hide the application, switching the light off automatically.

Once started, SmartLight runs as a background application. It can be accessed through the list of open applications (hold down the Menu key). With SmartLight running, the backlight stays on as long as the menu or an application window is in the foreground. The backlight goes out as normal (i.e. after the period selected in Phone Settings) once the user returns to the idle screen. The light also goes out as normal after receiving or making a call, and after the phone displaying system notifications (about new messages etc.).

For maximum effect, we recommend setting the backlight time-out period (Phone Settings > Display > Light time-out) to the minimum of 5 seconds.

In order to prevent battery drain, SmartLight will become inactive in case an application has been left open for a long time. In this case, please close all open apps until you see the message "SmartLight has reactivated".

Hint: Use PowerBoot (the free tool from www.wireless-labs.com) to have SmartLight auto-activate when the phone is switched back on.

nAlertMe is an accelerometer-based freeware application that sounds a loud alarm when any movement is detected.
Usage

Press Options -> Activate alarm.
Then you have few seconds to drop your phone before alarm activation.
To deactivate alarm you must put your phone in defined positions sequences.
