Expect Nothing Else from Nokia

Well after finaly thinking that Nokia came to terms that their firmware which each network provider fiddle with, messes their brand Mobile Phones up and deciding top post software so us the public can update their dodgy software to the latest and greatest generic Nokia software.................Doh! No they haven't!!!!!!!!!!!
All they have done is let you plug in your phone and read the sim card in order to see what network provider and country you are in and check to see if you have the latest Firmware allowed by your provider.

I know this because I have now tried two N70's on Three and a 6680 on three with v2 firmware and all 3 times the same response "NO UPDATES AVAILABLE FOR THIS PHONE"!!!!!!! What rubbish we all know for a fact that V5.016 is available for these phones. And I know for a fact that Three only allow the totaly rubbish V2 Firmware that turned th ephone on and off, drops the bluetooth on TomTom and changes the ring tone continously!

Well Nokia, I'm totally disapointed!

I tried it 20x with my N70. Sometimes the download couldn't finish or the Updater said "NO UPDATES AVAILABLE FOR THIS PHONE". But today I updated from V 3.xxx.x.x to V 5.0616.2.3. Maybe the Nokia server works at its limits.

Try it. Maybe you'll have luck and it still works.
