I am starting a new Service in My office: To install Applications, Themes, Video Clips, RingTones and Wallpapers to Symbian Phones and other likely phones, copying the name of a popular MTV base Programme: Pimp My Ride. Now being that I have not being following these threads and posts, I need to know some certain basics. 1. What phones can I install Apps in ? I know all the Nokia Symbian phones, but what other phones ? I hear some SonyEricsson, some Siemens, etc. 2. I have bluetooth on my PC, but I guess I also need to Cable connected softwares. Right ? 3. Any other info will be appreciated. Thanks. dannyogolo |

Member: 66920 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 3 | Username and password for the Drugstore? Dear keepers of the seven keys ... ... to the drugstore and other restricted sites or areas that require a username, password or whatsoever to grant access: It is o.k. to keep your site and files private or for friends only, even though you probably got them from generous people who did not do so. Nevertheless, it would be a nice gesture to announce that policy in your message when you post a link, because it avoids building hope and later, after searching the respective site, server, library, whatsoever for that long-sought piece of information or software and the password to it, disappointment. Resources that are not even partially open to the public should not be posted in the first place, to avoid dozens of questions for access information and "please e-mail me" posts. On the other hand, if a server, site or file can be obtained by everybody and the respective info is just difficult to find on a site that has "grown organically" with navigation being confusing, why not adding a few brief hints on where to go and what to do? This would also save a lot of unnecessary questions and posts, and a lot of time as well. Just two cents. The appeal may not apply entirely to the Drugstore section, but there are so many posts on this and other boards where following the little suggestion would be really helpful, that I couldn't resist the temptation to use this topic as a hook. Please forgive me, no offense intended. Thanks to everybody for the kind support, keep up the good work and have a nice weekend. |
