Have successfully tried it on a 5110, 6150, 33XX, 6210.

Have tried using Tones from 5210 (Side Step and Speedy) and all worked well.

Just make sure you use FAID calculators that require the full flash as parameter. nk_calc, EepromTools, and nkTool wn't work.

For new models that are unlocked using FFFFF on lock 1 and/or 4 (i.e 3310 v5.XX) PPM changing is rather impossible for now. Just changing 1 byte or swapping bytes from either MCU or PPM and no matter how many times you recalculate FAID, it still won't work.

no metter what I do I always get contact service. I have 6210 5.56 and I've tried every think: * just adding ringtone; * removing ringtone and then adding new one; just removing ringtone. I've tried this with all ringtoneman ver. and I always get CS

the 5.56 versions are the ones that need to be unlocked using the FFFFF method. So even if you don't get a contact service, you'll still lose network.

so i get my dns has a problem,,

& when I try the IP for gsmsearch.com i get a "url not found"

anyone tried this on a 6210 ? if so, where should the flash be
read from ~ to ? thanx, i tried it on original 3310 ppm file it listed the tones fine, but i get an error on 6210 ppm file.

update: flash for 6210 should be from 002~005A as in both MCU &ppm.

hi guys;

the prog doesn't work for me.i don't know why.....

it always hangs after adding ringtones and pressing do jobs.

please help me what is the problem with it.........

Tested in a 5110 with two-tones at the same time, one from 6110 and the other from 6210

Calculated FAID with FAID*******

Ok, working without major problems, only that the 6210 tone in my 5110 has this name "...", do not know why

soft 100 % working tested by adding 8 tones from 8210 , 3210 at one time , faid calculated by tec .

but the problem now is how to make *.re other than extracting from nokias ?

Hello,

Use WinDDP 2.60 or 2.70. It can download ringtones directly
from phone and save it into "mytones.ton" file which if I am
not mistaken, is very much similar to *.re format. I uploaded
upto 42 ringtones on a 5110, now my 5110 has 72 rintones.
12 of the uploaded ringtones are cutomized and 1 of the
customized ringtone was 45-seconds LONG! The other 60
ringtones came from 7110, 8210 and 3330... From 7110, I
even got the tone for "Battery Low", Recharge Battery", "SMS
ALert Specail" and a few funny tones

... You can also add
Languages, but only from PPM files of the same version and kind.
For example, you can add EURO languages to an ASPAC PPM.
But somtimes chinese characters will be displayed as boxes
if the phone cannot support the fonts.

Although you need a VALID registration key for WinDDP 2.60
and not the KEY generated by KEY Generator released in this
forum some time ago...

I have tried RingToneMan and after i wrote the ppm file to the phone it does not get network. I don't have M-BUS cable to update FAID with tek

But i have EEPROM tool 3.0

Will the FAID be updated with EEPROM tool 3.0

I have tried it and no positive result. Still NO NETWORK.

The phone does not have hardware problem because when i write backup of the same phone it works fine.

How to add rinrtone then??????????

Please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!
