100% working solution for Samsung R200/210s

For those guys who are always asking for a unlocking solution for Samsung R200/210 phones I
made this little tutorial.

1- Buy a connector (in Europe you can buy it at http://www.resolv-info.com)

2- Download IC-Prog at http://www.ic-prog.com (this is a Ponyprog clone or vice-versa)

3- Build the schematics at http://members.tripod.com/vio_man/r-2xx.gif

4- After you done all this, you can plug the "home made" cable to your phone. In the schematics picture says to read without the battery. Try to read with both ways (with and without battery) and see what way works for you.

5- Now you can use IC-Prog to read the phone's EEPROM. Configure the program to use JDM programmer in your COM port and select the EEPROM type as I2C -> 24c256
Of course, I will not teach you how to work with the program!

6- Now you must use the Samsung Code Reader 3.5a (SCR) or later available at http://clientes.netvisao.pt/jorgef04/index.html

7- On SCR select R200/210 for R200, and R200/210 or R210 for R210s.
N.B. Sometimes generated codes won't work with Samsung R210s, but most times they will.
For R210s you must try the two ways in the Samsung Code Reader: R200/210 or R210.
If your R210s don't accepts the codes, don't worry, Pajo is currently working on a solution it will be available in the next SCR release.

Violator(c), 2002 - Portugal

Thumbs up

And if your phone says "Illegal operation", just turn it off and leave it for a minute, turn on and type the code...that's all...Recomended external voltage for eeprom reading - 2,4V.

If your phone does not accepts the code, just enter this code: *2767*2878# (Custom EEPROM reset) and try again

Also, why reading the EEPROM with 2,4V? I think it reads with 3V...

gsnbhagawan:

Have you read your phone's EEPROM with 3V or other voltage?

Hi ,
i tried custom eeprom reset then re-try entering code !! without succcess ..
illegal operation with #0111*code#
not personalized Yet with any code else ...

i read 2.4V and eepprom is looks like good but with battery it read another eeprom but not looks like working one ..
with 3V too .
so i think 2.4 is better
but i still can't unlock my R210S why !!
- how to know the eeprom i read is 100% readed good ????
- i thought that i can write anoter R210S eeprom then unlock it ... but i tried write using ic prog without success ... why can't write ?

and this eeprom clonable ?

- some friends says they remove eeprom .. i tried find eeprom 24XXX on phone board and nothing there ... i think it emulated or there is 2 kind of boards ?

Hi Makona:

First enter *2767*2878# to reset your EEPROM. Then read it with 3V (use two 1.5V cells), WITHOUT THE BATTERY. Try to enter the code using #0151*code# if #0111*code# fails.

It should work fine.

N.B. Read the instructions on the schematics picture
