How can you read that eeprom ( pins 1,2 seems to go to pin 8 not to gnd ) ?

Somebody said that you can use a data cable to read EEPROM.
I have a cable schem with lines named GND? SCL , SDA , like pin 5 an pin 6.
You have to dessolder the 24CXX in order to read it with PonyProg, very hard.
