SMS problem with Samsung R210S - GSM-Forum

Hello.

I have a Samsung SGH-R210S and the phone refuses too many times to send an SMS message. Sometimes I have to send it 2 or 3 times before it displays the Message Sent confirmation. Also when sending a SMS message it takes too long with the Wait Please. I din't changed anything on the flash or eeprom. I only unlocked it by code some months ago, but this problem occurred on the past too. Also sometimes when receiving phone calls from the "wire network" the call fall like it was from a cell phone on a low network area.
I think this a problem with the phone's software: bugs that cause instability.

Can anyone enlight me and tell me what's the problem: hardware or software. Should I return the phone to the repair service? It's on the warranty period, but I'm afraid because it's unlocked.

no, pls reset full with manual keycode *2767*2878#!!!!!!!!

yeah, 2767 2878 can help you

if not, looks like hardware problems. maybe Rx too low?

does this code also remove the SIMLock ?
i know it works with SGH-600, but on others too ?

*2767*2878 have never removed the SIMLOCK on sgh-600.. It's only a custom reset. *2767*3855# will remove the simlock..
