C100 unlock with S300 PCB093LBE cable
 

Hi,

I've read through all the threads on unlocking the C100 and am still confused as to exactly what cable I need and what mods if any i need to make.

I have an original PCB093LBE cable which is for a S300/V200, the one with the Data/DL switch on the side. I also have an original T100 cable PCB037DBE. I have tried using Winimei for the C100 and the phone wasn't recognised. Can anyone tell me what is the best software to use to unlock a C100 and if there is any mod I need to do to either of these cables before they can be used for unlocking.

The original cable for job with Samsung C100 has marks PCB180LBE.

I have now resolved the problem. For anybody else interested using an original T100 cable, simply unsolder wires from connections 4 & 5 in connector that connects to mobile. Then short pins 4 & 5. Plug connector in mobile without SIM and not turned on. The mobile will then go into service mode, i.e 3 colour bands on screen. Using the same cable you can then unlock the mobile with the C100 unlocker. To get out of service mode disconnect battery and mobile will now be unlocked.

Note this is for unlocking only. If you want to use a cable to download ringtones etc. get an original S300 and perfrom mod as written else where in forum.
